SEXOLOGICAL BODYWORK

Hi, I’m Samara Jade, an Intimacy Educator and certified Sexological Bodyworker based in Santa Barbara, California.

My work is rooted in the belief that our bodies carry the wisdom we’ve been taught to forget—and that reclaiming intimacy with ourselves is the key to deeper connection with others. I support individuals and couples in exploring their erotic aliveness, rewriting outdated narratives around sexuality, and cultivating embodied, relational intimacy.

With a background in somatic education, bodywork, and holistic health, I offer a grounded and non-judgmental space for you to explore parts of yourself that may never have been met with safety or care. My sessions are bespoke, intuitive, and deeply personal—whether we’re working with breath, touch, boundaries, or emotional release. For many, this is the first place they’ve ever felt safe to speak the unspoken.

This work isn’t just about sex. It’s about your wholeness. It’s about becoming more fully alive in your body, more honest in your relationships, and more connected to your choice and voice.

Let’s explore what becomes possible when you’re met exactly as you are.

I believe pleasure, curiosity, and self-awareness form the trifecta for a rich and fulfilling life.

  • Pleasure is not a sin—it’s your birthright. Our bodies are magical sensory playgrounds, and everyone deserves to experience pleasure. Together, we can set aside shame and unlock your fullest potential for joy and connection.

  • Curiosity is the Fountain of Youth – It keeps us playful, engaged, and open to new possibilities. I encourage you to remain curious and inquisitive about your experiences in and outside of our sessions.

  • Self-awareness – grows through inquiry, presence, and embodiment. These practices help you connect with your body’s wisdom, build intimacy with others, and foster deep transformation.

So many ways to play!

As a sexological bodyworker and somatic practitioner, I bring an expansive toolkit to support your sexual wellness journey. In our sessions, you lead the way while I hold the space. There are no surprises; we move at your pace, following what feels right for you in each moment. You are not only free to change your mind, shift direction, or pause — you are lovingly encouraged and joyfully celebrated when you do.

Touch, when explored, is always consensual and used as a tool to support your erotic wholeness. By cultivating a deeper connection to your voice, your choice, and your body, we create a space where your authentic desires can be expressed and honored.

  • Foundations of Touch: Learn how to ask for touch that nurtures your body, reduces tension, and opens new pathways to connection and pleasure.

  • Body and Genital Mapping: Explore your unique anatomy and pleasure zones. Mapping increases embodiment, supports healing, and uncovers new sensations that enhance sexual well-being.

  • Consent and Boundaries: Learn to listen to your body, express what feels right or uncomfortable, and communicate your needs clearly. We’ll explore saying “no” with confidence, expressing desires from a full-bodied “fuck yes,” and navigating the space of “maybe” or “not right now” with ease. This process empowers you to communicate authentically and feel in control of your choices at every step.

  • Somatic Games and Practices: To encourage introspection and exploration, and deepen your connection with yourself, your desires, and your boundaries.

  • Active Receiving: A key aspect of our work will focus on cultivating your ability to receive touch, pleasure, and connection in a way that feels empowering and nourishing.

  • Erotic Massage: When desired and appropriate, I will guide you in learning and experiencing the healing and pleasurable benefits of erotic massage. This practice helps you cultivate a deeper connection to your sensuality and pleasure potential.

  • Scar Tissue Remediation: For individuals who have experienced surgery, trauma, or scarring in their genital or pelvic regions, we can work together to release tension, restore sensitivity, and promote healing through gentle and focused bodywork.

  • Sounding: Sounding utilizes vocal tones and vibrations to move energy through the body, helping to release emotional tension, increase body awareness, and enhance pleasure. This practice can be deeply grounding and cathartic.

  • Self-Pleasure Coaching: I offer guidance in exploring self-pleasure as a way to deepen your connection with your body, enhance sexual function, and develop a healthy and fulfilling relationship with your sexuality.

  • Embodiment Practices and Movement: These practices help you reconnect with your body, increase body awareness, and open new pathways for pleasure and self-expression. Through movement, we unlock areas of tension and increase comfort in your own skin.

  • Breath Guidance: To help you deepen your connection to the present moment, release tension, and cultivate a sense of calm and presence. Breathwork also enhances your ability to connect with sensations in your body and increase pleasure.

Sexological bodywork is a legitimate profession following a strict legal and ethical code.

The Association of Sexological Bodyworkers Association Website:

"“Soma” or “Somatic”  means ‘of the body’ but not merely the physical body. Our Soma includes our spirit, our mind, our body and physiology, our emotions and our feelings.  In somatic work we are supported to turn our focus inwards, to the sensations we experience in our bodies, including information sourcing from our tissues, structures, trapped emotions and even the stories we hold in our nervous system which contribute to our habits and help shape how we experience ourselves and what is possible.

A person might seek the support of a Certfied Sexological Bodyworker (CSB) to help address specific challenges including a lack of access to pleasure, a diminished experience of desire and joy, or a longing to have greater access to the nourishing aspects of a partner’s touch. Any issue of and relating to our capacity to experience the full range of our human erotic embodiment is within the purview of a Certified Sexological Bodyworker including, simply, a desire to experience more.

Certfied Sexological Bodyworkers use a client-centered approach to empower, educate, and bring attention to the felt experience through movement, breath, touch, sound, and placement of awareness. This approach facilitates the ability to change limiting habits, unwind and release what is no longer supportive, re-sensitize the body, and create a more expansive erotic state that integrates both body and mind.

Our teaching involves a variety of instructive modalities, including breath-work, foundations of touch, somatic learning, body and genital mapping, consent and boundaries, active receiving, erotic massage, pelvic release bodywork, scar tissue remediation, and masturbation coaching.

Because Sexological Bodywork® is strictly offered within a 'one-way touch container’, we are able to offer clients a state of arousal that is free of the pressures of two-way touch that accompany engagement within partnered exploration. Certified Sexological Bodyworkers support students and clients to explore arousal and embodied states of pleasure that are free of cultural caveats and habitual sexual behaviors. In this meditative state, an individual becomes aware of the body as a source of wisdom, freedom and belonging; a safe and inspiring ‘home’ within which it is possible to continually evolve and grow."
